Founder & Principal Biography
Leveraging a multi-faceted career in high-stakes roles, Martin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the design, development, and delivery of strategic solutions and actionable advice for clients.
Martin has experience advising clients of all sizes — from private equity sponsors, institutional investors, multi-billion-dollar corporations to nonprofit organizations and small business operators — on a wide range of business issues including:

Prior to founding Deacon Advisors:
- Senior Associate at M3 Partners (boutique restructuring and corporate advisory firm in New York City) where he advised companies through significant financial restructurings and Chapter 11 cases.
- Investment Analyst at Domain Capital Group in Atlanta where he evaluated, managed, and executed real estate and credit investments.
- Associate at BDO USA in Miami where he provided cross border tax modeling and planning services to publicly traded multinational corporations in the e-commerce, defense, and hospitality industries.
Martin received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting and Finance from Palm Beach Atlantic University with high honors; while at PBA, he studied abroad at Korea University's business school in Seoul, South Korea. Following graduation and requisite work experience, Martin became a licensed CPA at age 21.
